Pirate Online Catalogue3 november 2010 |
Pirate is a company manufacturing and wholesaling products for hunting, fishing, tourism and holiday activities: all kinds of knives, crossbows, air pistols and multi-tools.
The online catalogue of the company has a global objective to reach, that is, to become an Internet entry point for wholesale purchasers — thanks to its well-managed, visually expressive, user-friendly system of product presentation and ordering process, containing various interactive elements, which catch the eye of visitors.
The "showcase" of the catalogue’s homepage immediately involves visitors into the top product models viewing. One can choose a certain product group and move within it, browsing the larger images of the products. Clicking on the product, you move to the page with its detailed description.

For long-term customers, who are familiar with Pirate product range, there’s a "search by article" function that allows you to order the desired product in a few moments.
The appearance of new models is immediately reflected in the menu marks — it is updated every time you enter the website.
To inform the website’s visitors of the new products and sales, color coding of the corresponding product groups is used.
Having looked through a number of products, you can forget what it was that you wanted to buy. To ensure this doesn’t happen, all the viewed products are automatically saved in a separate section.
The product range can be directly presented in larger or smaller images, suitable for different target group segments: visuals or discrete mindset representatives.
The small-sized catalogue view allows you to see more products at a time. To have a closer look at a certain product, just place the mouse cursor on it.
You can view a closer image of each product not only on the page with its detailed description, but also use this view mode for working with the whole website — just choose, how many larger images should be displayed at a time. This feature helps to save your time as you don’t need to move to the product page and back to the main page, and can immediately see whether the product suits you or not.
You can browse through different product pages of the catalogue without changing the image size.
You may also enlarge the product image or save it to use in your own catalogue or business proposal.
The majority of products are provided with several photos, so that you can view the chosen product from different angles.
Each product of the catalogue has a detailed description with all its features characteristics.
If you have any additional questions on a certain product, you can ask them right in a special feedback form when adding it to the shopping cart.
In the "related products" section, one may find the accessories to the main product or check out the related products.
All the products added to the shopping cart are stored by the interactive pirate, who meets visitors on the ordering page. Just cast a look at him and you’ll immediately see which and how many products have been already ordered, and which product groups are still lacking.

This visualization makes the ordering process much more exciting for wholesale purchases — visual target group representatives in particular, and especially when buying a lot of products from different groups. If preferred, one may always use a traditional product list on the right of the pirate.

To make it more convenient for customers, the map on the website’s contact page is provided with a special interface, tracking a route from the customer’s current location to the company’s office.
The online catalogue of the Pirate company ensures the maximum comfort for the customers, when choosing and ordering products, and receiving the order. Every visitor can adjust the catalogue to their own needs, choosing the most suitable and comfortable mode of information viewing. All this makes the Pirate website a universal and indispensible working tool for wholesale purchasers.
